Powell station has both Muni and BART connections. It is where to get off if you're looking to spend money; the station offers a direct entrance to Westfield San Francisco Centre, and empties out just outside several large stores, such as GAP, Forever 21, and Virgin Megastore.
Travelers are likely to encounter panhandlers, entertainers and demonstrators upon exiting this busy station. Powell is the largest of the BART stations.
