Khan Toke is a hidden Thai gem in the Richmond District of San Francisco. Their prices are consistent with that of most Thai restaurants in the city, but they offer something a little extra: ambience. It is a traditional Thai dinner, complete with the removal of shoes at the door and unique seating. There are ornate walls and specially carved tables, as well as a blossoming garden in the back.
They have an extensive vegetarian/vegan selection.
It's an excellent "date" place and easily accessible by the 31 or 38 Muni line.
