San Francisco has a pretty high concentration of car share pickup locations, especially in the more central neighborhoods, like the Mission, Hayes Valley and SoMa.
There are two car share options in San Francisco:

Flexcar in 2007, and San Francisco is the first city to implement this change. Flexcar's Bay Area applicants are now directed to Zipcar's site.
