Absinthe is a bar and restaurant in Hayes Valley. It is well known for its retro cocktails, as well as its french decor. The food is also supposed to be quite good, albeit tre' expensive. In Fall of 2006, Absinthe released the cocktail recipe book "Art Of The Bar".
The owners of Absinthe also own and operate Arlequin Wine Merchant just down the street.
